The Quick Cut: A girl wakes up to find that six months have passed and her life has completely changed. Chaos ensues as she looks to find what happened.

A Real Review: So much of how we define ourselves is based on our experience. What we accomplish and the decisions we make shape the path that we take moving forward. How would you react if your didn't remember your choices for six months? Would you feel empassioned to find the truth? This is the scenario for Chloe. Chloe is not what you would call an exceptional student in high school. She has the brains, but none of the motivation and consistently does the minimum required to skate by. The one thing Chloe does have is an interest in psychology. It's the same scenario every day until one day she falls asleep in study hall and wakes up to snow on the ground with six months gone. What happened? And why can't she remember what occurred? If you're looking for a thriller that will make you wonder about the worst case scenario, this is the book for you. A large portion of the premise is based on psychology, including drug usage. If you have an interest in how the mind works, this book is a lovely fit for you. Chloe isn't average, but she is an underachiever with a dream. To see her wake up months later in what appears to be a dream lifestyle would be something most people wouldn't question. Yet, she did when everybody else told her to stop poking in the wrong places. Seeing her go through that made me want to see her find the truth. I do have one issue with the book though. Did I enjoy the story? Absolutely. However, to do so - I had to seriously check my reality button at the door. If you can keep yourself in the situation and not question the ridiculousness of the situation, you will likely enjoy it as well. If not, you're likely to get annoyed. An exciting thriller that will leave you wondering. My rating: 4.5 out of 5
