Today Tonight Tomorrow by Rachel Lynn Solomon

The Quick Cut: On their final day of senior year, a guy and girl (who have been rivals all throughout high school) end up teamed up together in a scavenger hunt. Emotions get involved the longer they're together.

A Real Review:  As someone who has had a rival before in life, I can speak to how much it can get your blood moving. Something about having a specific person to compete against can make you excitable, eager to push your boundaries. Rowan and Neil finds this out firsthand when they team up together for the annual HOWL hunt.   Rowan and Neil have been competing with one another since the beginning of high school. This not only means they're neck and neck for number one in their class, but everyone in the school knows about it. Rowan is dedicated to beating Neil at the annual HOWL hunt until she finds out a group is out to get her and Neil. Will their mutual good manage to outweigh the bad of the past? Or will it turn into something entirely?   This is such a cute story and I love the way that the city of Seattle is featured so naturally throughout the action. I've never been there and truthfully never had an interest in going there. After reading this book, I'm hoping I'll be able to go there and check it out someday.   Neil and Rowan have so much in common that it can sometimes make a couple boring. That's not the case here. These two manage to highlight the best of their differences together. Not only that, they learn to be more accepting of themselves.  A cute contemporary romance about rivals that end up closer than expected.   My rating: 5 out of 5
