Love Beyond Opposites by Molly E. Lee

The Quick Cut: A rock star and a mathlete with a long standing friendship try to deny their chemistry as the end of high school come barrelling to a close.

A Real Review:

Thank you to Entangled Publishing for providing the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Guy meets girl. Girl and guy like each other, but try not to admit it to one another. Reality continues to make things interesting until it all comes out. Sounds familiar right? Well, in this book that story is told with plenty of simmering feelings and adorable moments.

Jade is a mathlete college bound with a flare for the geek side of life. With a tendency to be shy and safe when it comes to her choices, she takes a break to live on the wild side before the next step of her life comes.

Lennon is bound for the life of a rock star - and his dad won't let him forget it. He's had a crush on Jade for as long as he can remember but never made a move on it because he doesn't want to break her. The last thing he wants to do is date her, go on the road, and then hurt her. However, he doesn't know if he can stay away from her forever either.

These two are amazing together and the friendship feels real. The nicknames, the conversations make you smile. Even the way they deal with adversity on the turn of a dime will make you laugh. My personal favorite moment is when a crazed fan gets in their face, which leads to Jade pretending to be Lennon's boyfriend. Drinks are thrown, kisses exchanged, and the drama is epic.

A book with some flirty friendships and smile worthy moments, this quick read is worth it's weight. Jade and Lennon have the quick banter of two people that you'd want to read together for a lifetime.

My rating: 5 out of 5
